One of the Authors/Directors writes about Luna’s death
I say Cages over boat propellers! What could be simper! I’m sure there have been mishaps like this before. It can’t be that hard. They have them over household fans. I also feel for the author. I know what it’s like to loose a friend even if the friend is an animal. Many people don’t understand this but it’s like any death. You walk around with a foot and a half sized hole in your chest.
Also in my opinion, Luna would have been safest with his family. Maybe someone would have taught him differently about his boat fascination, in orca language of course, but he would have been safer.
I’ve got to get this documentary. I’ve been bawling me witto eyes out and probably have a nose full of snot like that girl in “The Blair Witch Project.” I have been googling videos about Great White Sharks Breaching,
http://www.break.com/index/great_white_shark_breach.html just incredible when I ran into this somehow. Why do these stories have to end so sad? Luna was a wild Orca who wanted to become friends with people.

The next post will be chapters one and two of “Subterranea, Subterranea,” an illustrated novel. Midori reluctantly realizes the existence of two other dimensions, one parallel, one ethereal. She falls in love with the villain and explores his bizarre culture.

This pen and ink was stolen at an art show around 15 years ago
This painting was on display at The Occult Bookstore for 2 years. The owner at the time named Russ, A tall thin man close to 80 Years old at that time. He studied Kabala from a Rabbi and sometimes wore a purple Yarmulke. Russ knew Israel Regardie who was Aliester Crowley’s secretary when he was younger. Russ stated that Israel was tired of being bombarded by Crowley questions and was more focused on the dilemma going on in Israel the country. I guess that makes me 2 people away from Crowley.
He had mentioned though that Crowley was more personable than given credit. Russ had asked me what I was thinking when I painted that picture. I told him my biggest concern was trying to capture that look. I had wiped his face off seven times with turpentine till I was happy.
I remember the Occult Bookstore when it was street level on Milwaukee Ave. The store had been an old type of theater and still had a row of old metal and ripped leather seats facing a small stage filled with bookshelves. I had taken a Tarot class there that seemed like a scene out of a book. It was in the backroom separated by hanging Oriental Rugs. The teacher, Lucy, a retired English teacher, resembled someone’s grandmother shopping at Marshal Fields. She had a taste for old costume jewelry such as broaches and necklaces. She didn’t resemble a woman into the Occult. We were friends and sometimes had dinner at a nearby restaurant. She was always a teacher and I had learned a lot from her, just in general about life. She died of cancer maybe 10 years ago.
